The Return

Well, it appears that it is time to return back down to Texas for school once again. I have mixed feelings about this, as I don't look forward to quite all of the school work, papers, and such, and also Saga. But on the other hand, I am eager to learn some more programming topics and to meet and spend time with the friends that I made in my first year.

Unfortunately, I never did get to say goodbye to anyone at church, mainly due to being sick this last week, but I guess I'll see people again this Christmas, and I personally think goodbyes are for wimps anyways.

Next post, if of course there is any, will be from down in Texas. I will soon be enjoying warm afternoons while everybody else is freezing their poor little noses off up here. *smirks*

Remember, the bugs are bigger down south, PLUS, you are closer to the killer bees.

So there.

Also, we have actual, real, seasonal changes. Like, you know, the trees turning colors and dropping all their leaves and stuff.

Actually, some of us really don't, but we say we do just to make our brother jealous.

I enjoy the snow. For the first few days anyway.

Actually, I think it'd be awesome if we went through all the seasons twice a year, so they'd only be half as long.

You can smirk all you want, Trouble, but you still know deep down that you want to be up here...making trouble for all of us at church

Good-bye, btw :)

*ahem*

College students are reminded that they are "strongly encouraged" to communicate avec their chère mamans once in a while.

This can be facilitated through the means of blog posts, convivial IM's or meaningful emails, the latter of which should be at least 250 words.

Phone calls are not encouraged as the potential stress of talking in real time might prove too great for both parties.

It is hoped that the aforementioned college student will find time in the coming week (Sept 10-17) to apprise his (and we can not say this too often) chère maman of his experiences/classes/general outlook, i.e. tenor of life, or in fact, if he is indeed, a-live.

FURTHERMORE, said college student is advised not to couch his required communication in the lame guise of asking for something, such as SS#'s, shoes, or other items he neglected to pack.

It should also be observed that the party in question has THREE options to choose from and thereby cannot claim coercion in an way, shape or form.

Thank you, and have a nice day.
