I guess it is finally time to unveil the news that my mother has been sitting on for a week or so, hardly being able to contain herself from simply bursting out with it.

I won't be coming back to school this next spring.

Oh no! He's dropping out! He flunked! How can this be happening!

I'm sorely tempted to end the post like this, but my mom would be extremely, uh, mad.

No, I'm not dropping out. In fact, I have a co-op position at Rockwell Collins which will start the 7th of January and go till the end of summer, when I will head back down here for another semester. This is a big deal in several ways. First of all, it is an awesome "summer job" that will be only two hours away from my family. Second, Ardith works at the same company, and I will get to stay with her this spring and summer as I work there, which promises to be interesting in the least. No matter what people may think when I ridicule and make fun of Ardith's height in public, we do get along quite well. Finally, this job will help tremendously in my financial needs for school.

So there you have it. I'll be working with computers, avionics, and networking for a few months, and I am extremely excited about it. Yes, this messes up my school schedule a bit, but I'm more than willing to make that sacrifice for this excellent job opportunity.

Contgratulations Jason! That's great to hear. I hope you're time at RC is profitable (even if you will be working with a competitor to my company).

Hooray Jason! Congratulations! You may want to try not to show Ardith up at Rockwell.

I guess it is finally time to convince my brother to post again, maybe by changing that annoying "3 comments" to "4".

Good to hear you're excited ^_^. you don't know me probably, my name's Emily, and it's thanks to me you've got this job actually. Bow before me!! MWAHAHA!!!

No seriously, I work for Jim, your soon-to-be-boss, and I'm looking forward to seeing you around. In fact, I expect I'll be seeing you more than you'd like since it's looking like you're going to be helping on my project! If you're wondering how I know you, I knew your sister, Ardith, for a bit before she graduated. Admittedly, I mostly know her through reputation... but still that's something. Anyways, looking forward to seeing you Monday! Good luck with the moving!
