Getting closer...

Two finals down, three more to go.

I'm more than ready to get out of here for a while...

Wow, you're getting to your finals pretty early.

And I hope you don't have to drive through much snow on your way up to the heartland.

You could stand to update :-)

A simple rundown of all your classes for the world to "ooo" and "ahh" over would suffice.

I think he's going to be efficient and leave this post up till it's true in April.

Ha.

That sounds like something your father would do.

Perhaps we should pump some life into this blog by monopolizing the comment section.

I guess the males of this family can't help it if they've not been blessed with the wit of the females.

But you know what they say, it doesn't mean we're superior (necessarily), it simply means there has to be an order of wit.

Oh, I totally agree with you, Mommy. If Jason leaves his blog sitting for months, it's our right and duty to help take up the slack.

Ha. This "partial takeover of the blog" duty of which you speak, is precisely the reason why some of us smart people have forseen and displayed the great wisdom of NOT having a blog.

Hey, you only get your blog taken over if: A) you're family, B) you abdicate your blogging responsiblities.

Anyways, if you did have a blog on Blogger, you could always choose to disallow comments.

Don't look upon it so much as a "takeover," Kendra, but more like an "intervention."

If Jason hadn't neglected his blog to this sad extent, there would be no need for us to step in and fill the gap.

We only have his best interests in mind. If a person's slacking at their blog, can slacking in other areas be far behind? (this does not apply to housework, by the way)

If ol' what's-his-name at Merrill Lynch....John Thain...had put a little more effort into blogging, he probably wouldn't have lost his position.

And he could be flipping burgers in another day or two.

So you see, Kendra, this blog neglect can have far-reaching ramifications.

Of course, this all depends on your definition of blog neglect. If one has their own blog, certainly they should be allowed to choose when and how often to post?

As I recall, when you (Mommy) and Daddy would call Ardith, when she was in college, you did not see the necessity of having a phone conversation every day.

Yeah. That's different. That's taking most of a student's time and attention when they should be studying. Whereas blogging (and IM) is much more simultaneously compatible with studying.

No such luck, Jason. You have not yet seen the end of Free Comments.
